Good financial advice should give you clarity, not confusion. Before you pay for anything, you should understand what work is being done, what value it is intended to create, what it will cost, and whether it is right for you.
At Skybound Wealth UK, our fees are agreed clearly and in writing before any chargeable work begins.
There are no hidden fees, no vague commitments, and no unexpected charges. Our role is simple: to provide independent, professional financial advice that helps you make better decisions with your money.

We provide independent, holistic financial advice to UK clients, including individuals and families with more complex financial lives. That may include pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection, estate planning, tax considerations, property finance, mortgage advice, legacy products or international arrangements.
Every client is different. The work we do, and the fee we agree, must reflect the level of advice, analysis and ongoing support required.
All fees are:
• agreed in advance
• confirmed in writing
• explained clearly
• proportionate to the advice and service provided
You stay in control at every stage.
Your initial meeting with Skybound Wealth UK is at no cost. This is a chance for us to understand your position, your priorities, and the decisions you are trying to make.
It also allows us to confirm whether we are the right firm to help. Sometimes we are. Sometimes the right answer is that you do not need advice yet, or that your existing arrangements should be left alone. If that is the case, we will tell you.
Good advice is not about changing things for the sake of it. It is about improving outcomes.

If you decide to proceed after the initial discussion, any fees will be agreed with you before work begins. In many cases, you only pay for our advice if you choose to proceed with our recommendation.
If you receive advice and decide not to implement the recommendation, no advice fee is normally charged. Where the work is planning-only, or where there is no product implementation involved, we will agree a fixed fee with you in advance.
The exact fee payable will depend on your circumstances, the advice required, and the service agreed.
Full details will be confirmed in your personalised client agreement before any chargeable work begins. You will always know what you are paying and why.
Depending on your circumstances, our initial advice process may include:
Our advice is personal to you. It is not based on a product list or a standard template.
Where you proceed with a recommendation, an agreed adviser charge will apply. In many cases, this is paid through the product or platform provider from the funds invested. This does not create an additional fee beyond the adviser charge already agreed. It is simply the method of payment.
Where appropriate, fees can also be paid directly by invoice. Whichever method is used, it will be disclosed clearly before you commit.

Not every client needs a new investment, pension, mortgage or product.
Sometimes the value is in the advice itself.
This may include:
In these cases, we agree a fixed fee based on the scope and complexity of the work.
We will not recommend implementation simply to justify a fee.
Where you proceed with our recommendation, we do not charge a separate implementation fee.
The adviser charge agreed with you covers both the advice and the implementation of that advice.
That matters because implementation is not administration alone. It is where advice becomes action. It needs to be handled properly, documented correctly and aligned with the recommendation you accepted.

Many clients choose to work with us on an ongoing basis.
This is not because investments need constant interference. It is because life changes, markets change, tax rules change, legislation changes, and financial plans need to remain suitable.
Ongoing advice may include:
Ongoing fees are typically charged as a percentage of assets under advice.
They are disclosed clearly, reviewed regularly and assessed to ensure they continue to represent fair value.
If an ongoing service is no longer appropriate for you, we will discuss that with you.
Some clients have more complex financial lives.
That may include overseas pensions, offshore investments, historic products, international tax considerations, returning to the UK, assets held across more than one country, or more complex property and finance needs.
These cases often require more analysis, more due diligence and more judgement. Where specialist advice is required, the fee will reflect the time, technical work and responsibility involved.
It will always be agreed with you before work begins.
Mortgage advice may operate differently. Where a mortgage advice or application fee applies, this will be explained and agreed with you in advance.
Some or all of this fee may be payable for the advice, research and application work carried out, and may not be refundable if the mortgage does not complete, is declined by the lender, or you decide not to proceed.
We will always confirm the applicable fee, when it becomes payable, and whether any part is refundable before you commit.
We will not charge hidden fees.
We will not apply any adviser charge without written agreement.
We will not recommend change unless we believe there is a clear client benefit in doing so.
We will explain the cost of advice before you proceed.
We will explain the service you should expect in return.
Where the right advice is to leave an existing arrangement unchanged, we will say so.
Fair value does not always mean the lowest cost.
Low-cost advice can still be poor value if it leads to the wrong structure, weak retirement planning, unsuitable investments, unnecessary product changes, inappropriate borrowing, or no ongoing accountability.
Fair value means the advice is clear, suitable, properly explained, fairly priced and capable of improving the client’s position.
That is the standard we apply.

Paying for financial advice should feel clear, fair and worthwhile.
At Skybound Wealth UK, our fees reflect professional advice, proper analysis, clear recommendations and ongoing accountability.
You should always understand what you are paying for.
And you should always feel that the advice is built around your outcome, not our convenience.
You can reach us directly by calling us between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm at each of our respective offices and we will immediately assist you.
